The Signature Werks 2-Piece Rotor is engineered to deliver exceptional braking performance, cooling efficiency, and durability for demanding track and race environments. Designed with increased thermal capacity, these rotors provide superior resistance to cracking and distortion under extreme heat cycles and aggressive driving conditions.

Precision manufacturing ensures outstanding balance and smooth operation. Each rotor maintains a lateral run-out tolerance within 0.03 mm and weight variation within 2 grams, minimizing vibration and ensuring consistent pedal feel. Every unit undergoes rigorous quality control and inspection to guarantee reliability at the highest performance levels.

The slotted rotor design continuously refreshes the pad contact surface while efficiently evacuating heat, dust, and gases generated during braking. Compared to blank rotors, slotted rotors maintain more consistent braking performance—especially in wet conditions—by preventing water film buildup between the pad and rotor surface.

Despite their enhanced thermal capacity, these rotors weigh less than most OEM equivalents, reducing unsprung mass and improving overall handling response.


Lightweight High-Strength Aluminum Hats

Rotor hats are CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aerospace-grade aluminum to achieve optimal strength-to-weight ratio and durability under extreme track conditions. They are finished with Mil-Spec Type III hard anodizing to maximize wear and corrosion resistance. Strategic material removal further reduces weight while maintaining structural integrity.

Note:

  • Clear hard anodized hats resist discoloration under extreme heat and are recommended for track and race use.

  • Black hard anodized hats may experience cosmetic discoloration under sustained high temperatures (above 500°F / 260°C).


Structural Integrity Without Compromise

Instead of relying on adaptors, the system utilizes heavy-duty CNC-machined caliper carriers designed in the same architecture as OEM components. This approach provides superior strength, alignment accuracy, and durability for increased rotor diameter applications.
